Stage status is date-driven: Phase-II application listed as July 7 - July 16, 2026, 23:59 IST is closed; mop-up Merit/Allocation was dated July 19, 2026; second-phase seat allotment was listed at July 19, 2026, 10:00 IST; the July 19 - July 22, 2026 admission window has closed. Verify official status at wbcap.in.

Your college allotment depends on: Class 12 marks, category (General/SC/ST/OBC), college preference order, and seat availability. Wait for the merit list.

Upgrade means after first allotment, if a better college has vacant seats, you may be transferred there. Apply in the upgrade round and check the new merit list.

Allotment letter (printed), original mark sheet, category certificate (original), fee payment receipt, extra photos (2-3 copies), identity proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID).
