WBCAP Eligibility Criteria 2026
Basic Eligibility Requirements
To apply for WBCAP 2026, candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board. The minimum percentage requirement varies by category and course.
General category candidates typically need higher marks than reserved category applicants. Exact cutoffs are announced with the official notification.
Category-wise Requirements
SC/ST candidates receive relaxation in minimum marks. OBC candidates have intermediate requirements between General and SC/ST.
Category certificates must be valid and issued by competent authorities. Self-declarations are not accepted.
Required Documents
All candidates need: Class 12 marksheet, West Bengal domicile proof, passport photograph, and signature scan.
Category candidates must additionally upload valid caste/category certificates. PWD candidates need disability certificates.
